Program Timeline: The program will take place from July 13 to July 21, 2025. Participants are expected to arrive and complete registration on July 13. The opening ceremony will be held on the morning of July 14, and the closing ceremony will take place on the afternoon of July 21. Between these dates, a total of 28 teaching hours will be scheduled, including on-campus lectures and off-campus visits.

Eligibility
The program is open for enrollment worldwide. Ideal applicants may include, but are not limited to: undergraduate or graduate students, legal professionals (e.g., lawyers, IP agents), young entrepreneurs, startup founders or other professionals in the field of Intellectual Property.

A total of 30 participants will be admitted to this program.

Program Components
On-Campus Lectures: Delivered by professors from prestigious domestic and international universities, legal experts from major tech companies, and senior lawyers, in the form of thematic lectures at Jinan University. The total class hours amount to 14.
Off-campus Visits: Seven guided visits to intellectual property administrative departments, and large tech companies in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, or Zhuhai. The total class hours amount to 14.

Fees & Financial Support
This is a non-profit program, and no tuition fee is charged. Participants are responsible for covering their own transportation to and from Guangdong, visa fees, and medical insurance premiums. Expenses on lodging, meals, off-campus’s visits and accident insurance during the program period will be covered by the organizer.

Accommodation and meals for all participants will be arranged by the organizer.

Completion & Certificates
Participants who complete the program will receive a Certificate of Completion, co-issued by the Guangdong Administration for Market Regulation and Jinan University.

Insurance and Medical Examination
Participants in traditional offline classroom courses are required to have medical insurance in China, covering the whole duration of study, according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education of China. The organizer will purchase accident insurance for each participant during the 9-day workshop. Medical insurance shall be purchased by the participants themselves.
Each participants will be required to present a medical certificate upon arrival.

Applications will be reviewed after the application deadline. Admission results will be announced by June 30, 2025, via email. Final participant list will also be posted on the official website of the Law School/ Intellectual Property School of Jinan University. About Jinan University
Founded in 1906, Jinan University is the first higher education institution in China which was established specifically for overseas Chinese students, boasting a long-standing academic tradition and international reputation.
